Note: "Be Somebody" is the second single taken from Cole's third studio album, "Amen", and features backing vocals from TLC member, Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins.  "Be Somebody" followed the mediocre radio hit, "I Believe In Love" (lead single to "Amen").  Earlier promotional singles only contained the "radio edit" (aka album edit).  After zero radio support, the label re-worked the single with a new, more radio-friendly arrangement in an effort to help garner airplay.  The mixing and production "remix/remix edit" was overseen by Jain Winding and Keith Wechsler, however failed to make any sort of impact.  "Be Somebody" failed to chart within the Billboard Hot 100 and a physical CD single of the radio versions was never released.  If you're a fan of 90's alternative/rock/pop, I would definitely add this to your collection as it is a rarity and has never been released commercially on any album, single, or compiliation.
