What Hurts the Most (maxi single)
Cascada
iTunes/AAC/256kpbs

"What Hurts the Most" (2007) is the lead single from Eurodance group, Cascada's second studio album, "Perfect Day" (2007).  The single peaked at number 52 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number one on the Billboard Dance/Club Singles chart.

"What Hurts the Most" was written by songwriter Jeffrey Steele and Steve Robson.  The song was originally recorded by country singer Mark Wills (2003) for his album, "And the Crowd Goes Wild", only to be covered later that year by Bellefire.  Neither of their versions was released as singles.  The first release as a single (peaking at #13 in the UK) came from English singer, Jo O'Meara, for her album, "Relentless".   The single was later covered by Rascal Flatts for their album, "Me and My Gang" (2005), and was later released as a single in 2006 by the country band (peaking at #1 on the Billboard Country Singles).
