"I'm Gonna Be Alright / Alive" is a 2002 double A-side single released by Jennifer Lopez featuring Nas.  The single peaked at number 10, respectively, on the US Billboard Hot 100.

"I'm Gonna Be Alright", originally appeared on Lopez's second studio album, "J-LO".  A remixed version (produced by Track Masters) featuring 50 Cent then appeared on her first compilation album, "J to that L-O (The Remixes)".  For the commercial release, Lopez had 50 Cent's vocals removed and replaced w/ Nas's.  Speculation as to why this was done has never been confirmed.  However, most believe 50 was removed due to the fact that he was still up and coming.

"I'm Gonna Be Alright" was commissioned to US radio in the summer of 2002, with "Alive" being issued to US radio and US Clubs around the same time.  The commercial release of "I'm Gonna Be Alright" saw a US release in July 2002.
