Love at First Sight (promo)
Kylie Minogue
iTunes/AAC/256 kbps

Kylie Minogue debut in the US in 1988 with her cover of Little Eva's hit single, "The Loco-Motion".  Minogue's version peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100, making Kylie Minogue an 80's teen pop sensation.  Kylie Minogue followed up her success with the sophomore album, "Enjoy Yourself" in 1989.  After the release of the album, without explanation, Kylie Minogue disappeared from the US market.  Fast forward thirteen years and five albums later, "Fever" saw the return of Kylie Minogue to the US market.  "Fever" was released internationally in the Autumn of 2001 with the lead single, "Can't Get You out of My Head", reaching number one in 40 countries.  Due to the international success of the single, Minogue's US label, Capitol Records, released, "Can't Get You Out of My Head", in February 2002 in hopes to mimic the same success.  The effort paid off, the single peaked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 and number one on the Billboard Airplay Chart.  While the US had "Can't Get You Out of My Head" dropping beats all over the country, the rest of the world received, "In Your Eyes", in February 2002 as the official second single.  In the spring of 2002, Capitol Records decided to move forward with "Love at First Sight" as the album's second single in the US ("Love at First Sight" is the album's third single, internationally).  For its release, Capitol Records opted to use the Ruff N' Jam mix over the album version (which was being used internationally).  The single peaked at number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Due to the decline of the CD-single market in the USA, the Ruff N' Jam mix was never released in the US market for commercial purchase by Capitol Records.  The mix also does not appear on any US Editions of Kylie Minogue's compilation albums.  Capitol Records eventually released the mix (and I use that term loosely) on digital re-releases of "Fever" and digital maxi-singles of "Love at First Sight", however, the versions on these releases bare a noticeable difference from the version issued on the promotional singles.

Note: The "LP Edit" is the same version as the album version.
