"Alive" is the second single taken from Jennifer Lopez's first remix album, "J to tha L–O! The Remixes" (2002), and the lead single from the original motion picture soundtrack, "Enough" (2002).  The single was released as a double A-side single in the US alongside "I'm Gonna Be Alright".

"Alive" was released to US mainstream radio in late May 2002, with very little promotion from Lopez or her label, "Alive" failed to make any sort of impact on mainstream radio.  However, the commissioned dance mixes of the single catapult the song to number two on the Billboard Dance/Club Charts.

The "radio edit" of "Alive" contains a slightly beefed up arrangement and reduced length.  It's definitely a Lopez gem, as it has never been released commercially for sale.
