"Never Be the Same Again" (2000) is the second single released by Melanie C within US territories.  The single features American rapper, Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes, of TLC.  Due to lack of promotion from Melanie and her label, the single failed to make any sort of impact with American audiences.

Though failing within the USA, the single gave Melanie her first number one in the UK.  The single also became a big hit within international markets.

"Northern Star" is the debut single [in the United States] by English singer, Melanie C.  Due to lack of promotion from the artist herself and Virgin Records, the single failed to make any sort of impact on US radio.

"Northern Star" peaked at number four in Melanie's home country and was relatively successful within international markets as the second single from her debut album.  "Northern Star" was released as the lead single from her debut album in the USA.
